Popis produktu
Podium DD delivers a true 25 Nm of holding torque with uncompromising stability and precision. FullForce technology enriches the force feedback signal with high-resolution detail, allowing every subtle interaction between car and surface to be felt. Built for drivers who demand absolute fidelity from their equipment.
Absolute Fidelity.
Podium DD features the widest dynamic range ever achieved in a Fanatec Base. With 25 Nm holding torque and FullForce technology, it delivers the ultimate direct drive force feedback experience.
Power is Easy. Control is Crafted.
Engineered to deliver far higher performance within the same footprint as ClubSport DD, Podium DD has been redesigned from the inside out. The fully aluminum casing, motor shaft, and front and rear bearing seats are built to withstand higher forces and stronger vibrations.
Torque is cheap. Engineering isn’t.
Many mass market force feedback systems cannot sustain their claimed torque due to unstable internal temperatures. Podium DD is built differently. Reinforced electronics and a newly developed heatsink ensure thermal stability, maintaining a true 25 Nm dynamic range in all driving conditions.
FullForce: Driving the Detail.
While today’s sims offer accurate steering forces, they often miss subtle sensations felt in real-world driving, such as vibrations from the engine, road surface, and loss of traction. FullForce fuses high-fidelity vibration cues with the core force feedback signal to deliver a more immersive driving experience, allowing developers to add these nuanced effects.
Mechanical Honesty.
An offset segmented rotor design naturally reduces unwanted magnetic cogging torque. Combined with our patented FluxBarrier technology to increase efficiency and smoothness, Podium DD provides crystal-clear force feedback in every driving situation.
Designed for QR2.
Podium DD was designed for the QR2 quick release from the ground-up allowing fast hot-swapping of wheels. The precision tapered interface creates a secure fit, transmitting every force-feedback detail faithfully to your hands.
Composed at the Limit.
Designed and engineered in Germany, Podium DD represents the most advanced expression of Fanatec direct drive technology. The proven second-generation architecture and robust electronics make it suitable for professional drivers, training environments, and commercial installations.
Crafted in Metal.
The all-aluminum housing features redesigned front and rear covers that enhance rigidity and thermal performance. Diamond-cut Fanatec logos provide a precise finishing touch, reflecting the performance within.
Maximize Your FOV.
An included 10 cm shaft extension allows your display to sit between the Base and Wheel, positioned lower and closer to the driver. This expands your field of view and creates a striking mixed reality effect, where physical hardware and virtual cockpit begin to merge.
Notes
- Not suitable for children. A Direct Drive Base is not a toy! Podium DD is suggested for advanced users. The fast movements of the steering wheel and strong torque can be dangerous. Please read the safety instructions.
- FullForce functionality is dependent on developer support.
- We recommend installing the latest update for the best possible experience with your Podium DD.
